World Range/Habitat
Spider Monkeys originate from South America (including Mexico). Most species of Spider monkeys live in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America and go as far north as Central Mexico. They live in the tropical rainforests that are evergreen, semi deciduous and mangrove rainforests. They rarely touch the ground and generally stay high up in the canopy.
